Background

Stewart has over ten years experience working with advice businesses, spanning coaching roles at MLC, NAB, AMP and Hillross. He has designed and delivered a range of practice management seminars and consultancy programs at both Advisory firm and Licensee levels.

He has built consultancy teams from scratch and led them in working with advice businesses to increase their performance and business value. He also spent time in Japan working with start-up business within the field of early education.

Areas of Specialty

Stewart’s passion for business is underpinned by a focus on personal fulfilment. He believes  that being in business should be an enjoyable and satisfying experience, a positive lifestyle choice to enrich rather than enslave. It makes sense then that personal and business goals provide the starting point from which Stewart believes everything naturally flows.

His unique strength is combining creative problem-solving with effective process-design, change management and an appreciation of detail. He has a track record of turning conceptual thinking into reality.

Stewart’s enthusiastic approach focuses on people, not just systems and processes. This is one of his major differentiators - results through business owners and their teams - and  is demonstrated in his past success in building consultancy teams. He also believes there is no one ‘correct’ business model, and being systemised doesn’t mean having to surrender to uniformity.

Testimonial

quote_begin.gif  Stewart worked with our group (which had grown rather ‘organically’ from a single small office into a national group with five separate offices) at a time when small differences within and between each office were starting to create problems.

Stewart guided us through setting a new ‘national’ vision for the group, by defining who our ideal clients were; articulating our Client Value Proposition (CVP); appropriately segmenting our client base; designing our service offers; and pricing our services.

Stewart’s ability to demonstrate the importance of addressing these issues and the potential value to the business ensured that business owners were committed to the project.  Amongst Stewart’s strengths are his enthusiasm, his ability to see issues from all points of view, his skill in finding interesting and engaging ways to articulate issues or illustrate potential solutions, and his ability to keep projects on track.

I have no doubt that Stewart is able to add value to any business   quote_end.gif
